handbrake light staying on.

Default handbrake light staying on.

Hi my hanbrake light is going to half dim when i take the handbrake off. I have checked the sensor is not sticking and that seems to be fine. have anyone got any ideas what it could be please.

just cheched and that is fine its on max. thanks....

Ok cool.Then Its likely one of the switches isnt disconnecting properly.Either the one under the handbrake or the float in the master cylinder maybe sticking.Try disconecting them one at a time to see if the light goes out. When and if it does youve found the fault

take the cap off for you brake fluid and push the plunger down a few times it tends to stick in cold weather

tried that and the handbrake switch, it doesn't seem to be either?
