Exhaust QUESTION!
Went on the Rolling Road the other day, and I was informed that my centre CAT on my 94 WRX was still present! Getting rid of that!
The decat downpipe I got is 3" down to 2.5" for cat back system.
If I were to get a 3" de cat mid section, would it fit?
- or am I better off getting a 2.5" mid section.
I just thought, bigger piping - more power?

I've been searching the treads and the message that seems to be coming across is only go for a 3 inch exhaust if you planning 300bhp or more.
I got mine on the Rolling Road Saturday and I'm on 245bhp, so would a 2.5inch centre pipe be more beneficial for this power than a 3" - bearing in mind there's only a difference of £10 in price and I'm not planning on modding more as baby on the way!
2.5" CENTRE DE-CAT OR 3" CENTRE DE-CAT?

I'm not sure, but I was told at the Rolling Road I had something restricting the flow!
Just checked, the decat downpipe is 3" and the piping on the backbox is 3" so in theory I should get the 3" midpipe?

The rolling road said 'something' was restricting the flow doesn't really inspire confidence.
I suppose in theory you should get the 3" centre section.
On my 93wrx i got about the same with a decat downpipe,ik and backbox.

The only thing you will have to look out for is the 2.5 inch restriction. You might have to get that cut off and a 3'' flange welded on to fit a 3'' mid section.
