Welcome bud,

Best intial mod is a Whiteline anti-roll bar & steel droplinks from Demon Tweeks.

Performance-wise, sportscat downpipe and decat centre pipe followed by Ecutek3 remap. Should get you around 280bhp.

You might want to do something about the brakes then too.....

Remap £585 for official Ecutek or £300 for an unlicenced mapper.

Scoobyworld/API sportscat downpipe £300 (or Prodrive one second hand for less).
Centrepipe £100 or so.

Dunno re the boost valve, but this is Scoobynet - somebody will !

I just fitted a 2004 Sti intercooler to my 2001 bug WRX and noticed an immediate improvement.

So, worth doing, and safer for your car if you're doing more mods. You'd need to do some modifications to fit one to a classic though - there are threads on how to do it on here.

And yes, it's got air in it !

boost valve is a bad idea, yes it will give you a faster car, but more than likely it will go bang (det) before long as not enough fuel going into the engine, just get a remap
