hi guys

hope someone can help, as my dealer cant without a 2006 sti vin number.

i have an sti intercooler that i want to put on my 2006 wrx. but i need a new bigger undertray so it works to its best.

can someone tell me what the part number or numbers i need to change my undertray to an sti one.

As the 06> sti/wrx scoops are the same size (unlike the blobeye for instance) can't you enlarge the wrx undertray..?

Just a thought, as iirc they're not cheap to buy..!

If all else fails, try giving the dealer the reg. of one of their STI's..

but the dealer by me hasnt got an sti in stock at the mom, and was looking at making mind bigger, but would like it to be done right.

Will an 03 sti undertray fit in the scoop? If so they are much easier to get hold of.

No, the difference in scoop height between the 03-05 sti's and later hawkeye is huge..!

You could how ever modify one (03-05 sti) quite easily and very neatly if you're a bit handy with some tin snips and a pop rivet gun.. There's been quite a few done in projects, try a search..

Are the 2001 WRX scoop and 2006 WRX scoop the same ? If so I have the part nos for a 2002 Sti undertray at home. (I used the vin no of a kindly chap on here to buy brand new - I'm paying it back over 20 years. ).
