Bungs do make a massive difference. With the bung in on my Meercat system, it's quieter than the revolution one. With it out, it's on par with the Ninja.

Best of both worlds!!

A resonated centre will also help.

I agree with that, had the resonator section changed for a straight through pipe and it was way to loud so they do make a big difference

not mean this as a dig but can I just ask, why go out and buy one of the loudest exhausts on the market, why not buy a quieter one in the first place?

I have the vortex back box with a decat downpipe and straight through center myself before anyone says anything. it is really not that intrusive unless you are giving it the beans everywhere you go.

i already had a mongoose back box on it which i thought was a bit too quiet, and had heard good things about the vortex, just a bit too loud for me,would a resonated centre section make a difference,as its a stainless centre on it just now, dont get me wrong it looks excellent on my car, cheers for the replys guys
