Default Coilpack question!!

Hi all,

I have just recieved a set of what is supposed to phase 1 heads and have a question. My current heads on my 94 2.0 Turbo have two bolts holding the coilpacks, but the heads I have just recieved only have one. Can anybody help me out here? Will these heads fit my car?

Another thing. When buying gaskets for these heads (I need all cover gaskets and the two head gaskets), then what model should I buy gaskets for?

Thanks in advance

Rasmus

And yours is a phase 1? Do you have one or two bolts holding the coilpack? What I am after is, do I need different coilpacks than my current two bolt version?

Well I know its got a phase one inlet system so I guess its phase one all around!

It is just one bolt that holds the coil pack on, same as the photos you have posted mate...

2 bolts are legacy, so sounds like you had legacy heads/covers.

That sounds strange? I had another set of heads from a seller here on SN a month ago. Those were Impreza heads and they also had the two bolt coilpacks? They were damaged during shipping so I needed to order another set.

The original heads look like this:

Is it possible for me "just" to buy coilpacks for a phase 1 Impreza or would I need other things changed to make the "new" heads fit?

Thanks

These are actually supposed to be Impreza heads bought here on SN a month ago. But they are simular to the once currently on my car.

Does anybody know if I can just buy other coilpacks or there is more to is?

And is it for sure that they are Legacy heads?

Sounds strange....

OK I'll have to try a post there. If this is just a matter of buying Impreza coil packs I'll do that, I just need to confirm that before I go and buy more stuff that might not fit ;-)

What is the easiest way to confirm if this is a leggy engine? The only number I can find on the engine is EJ20BUB.

OK, can you say any more about the engine? The Ej20BUB is a closed deck, right?

Do you know if the coil packs from a phase 1 Impreza will fit or if I can make the Leggy once fit?
