Anybody got a XT Coupe (also known as Alcyone, XT6 and Vortex in different parts of the world). Remember them being sold in mid 1980’s and do ocassionally see a couple of late 80’s ones running about to this day.

Just wondered what to look for when buying one as this is a vehicle I can see myself ending up with in the near future (oh no, not another Jalopy on the driveway.).
Where do they rust/rot (presume it’s the rear flanks and rear undersides/suspension mounts as is the case with most Jap Jalopies )?
What is spares availability like – do Subaru still stock the parts (In general I’ve found other J-Tin manufacturers very good at keeping stock for older models; only last year I was able to get genuine parts for a mid 70’s Toyota Crown from a local Toyota dealer)?
