which turbo?
I have 5 door blobeye wrx that is still wifes daily drive but i have 3" exhaust with single sport cat ,hks racing suction kit , blitz dump valve ,tubular up pipe + heaheaders ,semi? padel clutch + steel billet flt wheel,18" + proxes t1-s,walbro 55 and tarox pads allround but no remap yet.
I have tein mono flex coil overs and f+r strut braces ordered .Other planned mods are 24mm white line anti roll bars+links, anti lift kit, f+r ap-racing big brakes conversion, fuel rail, injectors and front mounted intercooler, remapp ,in that order.
The only thing that is not set in stone is which turbo and which size injectors . After a trip to the RING I am concentrating on driving not the bhp ,so I would like fast spool up and boost all the way, but not chasing figures as I am not interested in lag at all .

VF35 or Hybrid TD04 for responsive, fast spool turbos, plus supporting mods.
You might find the 24mm ARB a bit much on the road - my 22mm Whiteline is quite stiff on it's firmest setting (although that's how it's set as the handling is great). I have Prodrive springs also.

There or there abouts. Touch more
Good mid range compared with the 20G that I've tried before especially as the top end figures are not important.
Quick in a straight line for sure but really quick on the back roads. Maintains boost easily so power available straight out of the bends.
The VF35 seemed to run out of puff so quickly. May just have been mine but was wholly unimpressed with it despite the TSL333 map.
