Default HINTS & TIPS on keepin car cool ???

Hi can anyone give any advice on how to keep my car and turbocoller as i have noticed when the car heats up it sloes down can anyone help ??

can someone translate

but seriously,the turbo heats up due to exhaust gasses so the harder you drive the car the hotter the under bonnet temps will be.So id suggest slowing down instead of redlining it through every gear.You could get manifold spacers which would help inlet temps

i dont redline every gear i just noticed the engine temp and oil temp going up and the car not feeling as fast thats all

Turbo cars are alot more sluggish in this weather anyway.
They love the cold air.

Advice

On a budget:
Intercooler water/methanol spray. Standard item on some Impreza's.

NOt on a budget:

Intercooler nitrous spray. Same as above, but sprays super cold Nitrous Oxide on your intercooler.

Or just run a cold air feed.

Keep the hot bits hot and the cold bits cold. Fit a turbo blanket to reduce under bonnet heat. Refit the turbo heat shield and ensure your headers and uppipe have heat shields or a properly wrapped with insulation.
