Front's - YES, direct fit.
Rear's - Require brackets for the calipers and modded handbarake shoes.

Im also considering this mod, I have a 93 Classic with 8x17's fitted, will the offset be an issue with these?

its not the offset, but the spoke design of wheels that is the issue..................

which 8x17's fitted evander? the WRX wheels won't work, the sti ones will. You haven't pit your offset down, it is the ET number , something like ET 48 the 8 is 8 inch width and 17 is obviously the diameter.

I cant check my wheels at the moment unfortuately, Im on an oil rig off west Africa. Im just asuming they are 8x17 Speedlines multi spoke but they may even be wider than 8" because they looked quite wide compared to a set of 7.5x15's I have lying around. Ill need spacers maybe, who stocks these?

You guys that have fitted spacers, did you also fit them at the back and how has it affected handling?

Maybe its just me but I thought the track on the rear of a vehicle had to be EQUAL OR MORE THAN THE TRACK ON THE FRONT ?

7.5 x 17 speedlines et48
Later cars have differing PCD so the discs would have to be re-drilled.

Spacing wheels out is basically changing the offset off the wheel. So if you fit a 10 mm spacer, you are changing the offset by 10mm!
And if you change offset, you should change geometry settings to compensate.
