It will fit but there is a bit of work to do. The 95 has a slanted intercooler whereas the STi 4 is straight across. You might need the STi 4 brackets and you will certainly need the under tray for best performance.

Ok Thanks for this, do you know what the best intercooler would be to use as a streight swap ?

It will go but you will need to cut metalwork from the intercooler outlet and throttle housing inlet to move it away from the bulkhead. Bash the bulkhaed with a larger hammer to stop it rattling. Cut and blank of the DV outlet as it will fowl the ISCV. Lastly get some sort of samco arrang, ent sorted to use the Pre96 DV.

sounds alot but I think there are a few threads on here that talk about the above in more detail

Will an STI intercooler from the same year fit as a streight swoop pre face lift ?

not worth changing to the Pre96 STi cooler as it's hardly any different.

i have an sti silver slanted intercooler which has the larger end tank and the alloy feed pipe with blue samco hose (which flows 50%better then the standard crapy plastic pipe) if your interested . better upgrade then standard as the alloy pipe going into the intercooler is made much bigger then standard and flows much better ! check out - AutoSpeed - Top-Mount Trial - Part One

I fitted one of these to my 93wrx, got it off ebay for 40 notes. You have to chop the samco to fit.
