Default oil change

i no it sounds daft but is the oil change as simple as draining out old oil, changing oil filter and filling back up?
its just someone was telling me about removing the cam sensor and turning the engine over... or something like that???

Great link to a great thread. Very useful, I follow this proceedure every time as it explains all the complicated bits. Up til now I've never had a problem using this method so, me, I'll be sticking to it.
