Default Engine Building

I'm looking for some advice..

My engine died a few days ago.. not taken it apart tough.. yet..
just quit a bit of knocking and banging and the bottom end is gone , bad compression so it doesn't idle , the block has already been bored once so I wont be fixing this one

so here's the deal.. what would you do it's a MY00
and im thinking about ordering a new shortblock and some other things

but as Im not so much into engine building I'm not sure what my best option is
what kind of shortblock and what more to do..

IMO If your asking, then pay an engine builder to do this for you that way it gets done right.

Set yourself some max power levels and torque figures you'd like to see and that will help determine whether you need uprated internals.

We only do that to people who are prone to auto suggestion. 'Normal' people can resist my temptations.

Some just like to drive around in my courtesy car..................

Don't worry Kjartan, we can mail order you anything you need to repair your engine. we do that for customers all over Europe and Skandinavia. eevn the Caribbean.

We can also hold your hand while you repair it yourself if you wish.

Let me know what you need and we can quote you.

Good Luck no matter what David

We always factor in a cost to valet the courtesy car, so you're cleaning it AND paying for cleaning it

Made my weekend that has, wait til they hear down the pub.

See ya David
