Default Re-map a standard engine?

If you would to do this, what gains would you see, if any? Would the mpg be better?
Just a general question on engine and re-maps, but to be more specific, a MY99 Uk turbo.

I would suspect that the fuel would be leaned out a bit which would return better MPG, but I doubt much better performance. At least with a green panel in and a second hand prodrive rear box you might release a couple of ponies...

A Prodrive PPP for this year took BHP upto around 250BHP, with just a mild remap, centre section, rear box, airfilter and a boost hose.

with a better remap you should see 265BHP even retaining the standard downpipe.
