Grooved brakes, worth it ?
Well, as part of new ownership there are a few things I like to change, one being brake discs and pads.
What are peoples experiences with grooved discs, such as TAROX. Are they worth the money, and if so, front only, or front and rear.
While im at it, for daily useage, what pads would people recommend.
Its an 02 WRX, used daily to go to work, and get a "little" bit of abuse, but not tracked or anything.
**just noticed I should have put this is wheels and brakes, sorry.

am lead to believe that grooved and or spot drilled discs are more efficient at disscipating the heat, but avoid fully drilled discs as they have a tendancy to warp pretty quickly due to very uneven surface temps.

I run Tarox kit at the moment but would recommend phoning Alyn at AS Performance - Rally Motorsport Specialists for a chat and much cheaper stuff than Tarox
No pressure to buy with helpful advice and kit which usually arrives next day

Never been keen on the drilled for some reason.
Had some lovely Brembo Max on my Golf GT TDi, and jesus they were better than stock, hence asking if the same applied for Scoob's.
Will definatly be shopping about a bit for the replacements, but liking the Tarox (40?) grooved.
Cant be doing with fast pads, my journey is too stop start to ever get any heat in them lol
