The differences between a V 5 Type-R and a P1 are?...
Please could someone illustrate the differences between a Type-R and a P1. Not to bothered about aesthetic differences, as these I already know. Just the engine(if there is any), suspension, and drivetrain(P1 has Type-R short ratio gearbox?).

Thank you.

P1 doesnt have DCCD or water spray, but does have ABS
P1 has revised front spliter and carbon liped rear spoiler, prodrive seats and suspension better suited to UK roads and ECU map for UK fuel
exhaust has 1 cat
not too sure about cams and block though, pretty sure it's the same

the gearing is different on the P1 to the short ratio gearing of the Type R.
I would say more suited to UK road driving - rather than the manic, but rapid acceleration given by the Type R short ratios

No 2 pot caliper rears on P1 and I thought they never bothered with a remap and just fitted some broquets instead.
Suspension wise it was replacement springs.
