You can buy the gaskets from Mark at lateral performance. I am sure he'll know what you're talking about when you call and he is probably a little cheaper. There is also a guy on eBay selling gaskets, they're not OEM but cheap.

I just done the head gasket on my car. While the engine was in bits I fitted manifold spacers. The only reason was because there was someone on here selling them for about £60.

Not sure what diff they'll make? Last year when I had my car rolling roaded I was disappointed in the figures. I was recommended to run some heat reducing stuff like spacers. Will know when the car is mapped again what the crack is

I'm near Norwich and use Constitution Motors (Subaru) there. Sam on the parts desk will go to any length to get what you need and he's now got hold of the Japanese parts CD, with all the Japanese VIN numbers and everything. He often posts out small parts for me. I'm sure he won't mind posting out stuff if you can pay over the phone. 01603 414623

They're just good heat management. Either you're into that, or you're not. And if you are, there's plenty more areas to keep you busy as well as just spacing the manifold. Worth doing if you've got the whole manifold off anyway.
