Default why is TD05 better than TD04 ?

why and how is a tdo5 better than td04? how does it get more power without increasing boost pressure etc. any info would be great. thanks

Its bigger so it can flow more gasses, produce more power as its a turbine basically
But its not always seen as better, in some situations a smaller turbo is better for low down power, better for slow moving traffic etc, you just need to find a turbo that suits your needs (mine was the factory VF36 but that engine came with it produced both low down power and high end, but its a twin scroll and not a single scroll, you would need to rebuild half the engine to fit one )
