i can smell fumes comming through air vents on tick over a bit like fuel can anyone help its a year 2000 modle

check for a fuel leak and also check for oil leaks as rocker cover gaskets are prone to leaking oil on exhaust and hence the smell !

Bet it is rocker cover gaskets leaking only need one or two drips lands on headers and stinks the whole car out very common do a search and see not hard job to do just take your time and make sure every thing clean and de greased before putting new gaskets with smear of sealer on .
