spark plugs for remap???

Strictly speaking, no (changing after mapping shouldn't pose a problem).
However at 16k they may be getting a bit tired (even thought they're supposed to last something like 70k..!) and if you're having a remap I'd personally change them (do them yourself, there not that bad..!).
If you're changing then it would be wise to fit NGK PRF7b's as they're a plug colder and should be better suited to any mods you have (incidentally, I presume you're going down the usual mods- remap route..?).
Speak to your mapper, pre-map advise should be part of the service IMO..
