Oil temperature
since I've had my car I've noticed that it takes along time for the oil temp to get to 80 degrees, mainly because it's got a very effecient oil cooler fitted.
so I've made a stainless steel jacket for it,
which will hopefully help it to warm up a little quicker.
Is there anything I should be aware of that might cause trouble?

as long as you don't allow it to get too hot then no..
on the warm up side of things do you still have the standard cooler / warmer modane fitted?? as this helps the warm up of the oil as the warm temp comes up first and heats the oil.

I gave it a run on my way home from work with a little acceleration, the hottest it got to with the cover on was 90 degrees,so it should be ok I reckon.
