Quick cat and emissions question
My scoobs just failed its mot on emmisions. A few years a go the cobra immobilizer caused the car to overfuel, melting the front cat and having to have the engine rebuilt.
The cat has done 198k miles. I am having a new sports cat put on for £220.
Whats teh probability that the new cat will drop the emissions from 0.6 to 0.3% or below?

Cheers for the help Fuzz, was indeed a dead *****
CO emmisions are now 0.04% from 0.6%. I never would have guessed a cat could make that much difference.
