Ferodo DS2500 seem to be one of the most popular choices.

What do you mean by 'very fast road', opposed to fast road? Is it the same but a bit more reckless?

Or do you do trackdays, in which case you will be driving very fast - much faster for much longer than is possible on the roads.

Either way, I find DS2500's expensive but very good.

Or go for OMPs which are good and dirt cheap - £30 for a set for front 4-pots. The only drawback is a lack of initial bite, but I've never had any issues when you really lean on them, they seem very consistent whether hot or cold.

Default Use DS 2500!

Stay away from EBC!!!!!!!! Whatever anyone tells you don't buy em' there sh#t. I used there products several times, rubbish. There's a reason they're cheap compared to other brands. I've used many different types of pads over the years on all of my performance cars, mintex,E.B.C. and Ferrodo. Ferrodo DS 2500 are certainly the best yet. The difference is deffinately noticeable. I was very impressed!

for very fast road then Pagid blues or similiar will be a step above the ds2500's whilst still retaining good bite, etc............

I'll second that Alyn - the Pagids are in a different league for fast road/ track work

Good enough to lock up the brakes at 140mph on track at CC

Do the Pagids make a significant difference on std discs ?

I heard they were only available as front pads (!) - Is that true ?
