Default very bad overfueling?

hi ive got a uk turbo wagon 95 full decat ,z4 ecu,sti 5 top mount, and k&n filter with knocklink afr boost gauge etc .when i floor it the boost hit nearly 1 bar as it should but the afr reads right past rich nearly off the gauge is this bad and would i benefit from adding a boost controler as its getting plenty of fuel?

Hi mate Ive noticed the same thing with my afr but ive been told that its supposed to be running rich when floored, should show lean when backing off throttle and when at a constant speed/throttle position it should bounce between rich and lean. I would be far more concerned if it was running lean when your booting it!

its probably running rich at high revs/high boost in order to keep the pistons/block a bit cooler, as someone has said, alot better than running lean at high boost

Does your afr gauge tell you the ratio? It should be about 10 to 11 on full boost. Any higher than 11 and I wouldnt thrash it.
