Default What model is this exhaust for?

Hi,

I bought a back box from Ebay that was described as suitable for all classics. When it arrived and I tried to change my standard back box for it I found out it was different. My car is a 1996 WRX saloon GC8. The seller wouldn't accept that it was different and the muppets at paypal refused my claim against them. The exhaust is a HKS superdragger and in the picture for the auction it was fitted to a late classic. Can anyone shed any light on it?

Thanks!

If I find out what car its for, its up for sale if anyone is interested!

Question

All classics exhausts should fit any year classic. Maybe an hks backbox has to be used with a hks centre.

I thought that might be it, but when we tried to fit the exhaust, with it sitting on its hangers it was fouling the rear diff slightly, so I thought that maybe there were variations over the classics?

By any chance does anyone else run a HKS dragger exhaust system, if so do you know if the centre pipe was different to standard?

I have considered contacting HKS, but am worried about communication issues, do they have a UK importer/supplier?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as its basically scrap until I can find out more about it!
