Default td05 18 fitted

Fitted my new turbo yesterday, Just a couple of questions

Should i leave the brass resticter in or remove it all together?

Its making boost(just about 1 bar max) although no where near as much as the vf35(1.45)that came off, I assume thats the map which is being altered next week?

Will the actuator need adjusting or would it have come with a preset cracking pressure?

I know some will say i shouldnt be using any boost before the remap, I am of course monitering afr's and keeping an eye on my knocklink.

Cheers Mel

would suggest you drive off boost as much as you can until its mapped......it may not be safe at all due to the differences in the turbo's

as for the restrictor leave it as is until mapped and they can adjust, sort to suit
