Default Do I still need a map sensor if fitting a Apexi AVCR

Hello there,

Just about to have a Power FC and commander fitted with some other goodies and I'm expecting to take the boost above my cars limit of 1.1bar.

I'm also going to fit an Apexi AVCR boost controller to make controlling the boost that extra bit safe.

Does that mean I no longer need to replace the map sensor for a
MY97 1.8bar or a Apexi 3 bar map sensor? Will the AVCR negate the need for this swap or will I need to swap the sensor aswell?
