MY00 Hicup
Any advice or ideas on this much appreciated
MY00 Turbo - UK car - Hicups at 4k rpm on 1/4 to 3/4 throttle in third and 4th
Its like you jump off the throttle then straight back on again
Doesn't do it in 1st or 2nd (no idea about 5th - I never have that much clear straight road)
And it doesn't do it if you feed the throttle down or fully plant it - only holding the throttle anywhere between about 1/4 and 3/4 of the way down
No difference to hot or cold
Pulls fine up to 4k and is back by 4.3k
A mate suggested the lamda - that failed at MOT so was replaced so not that
My Dad thinks dodgy fuel - His S2000 suffers from 'kangaroo juice' on occassion
Any ideas?

Thanks Simon
Much appreciated
Anyone know any more serious problems if I dont get it fixed ASAP - I've heard a few nasty stories abouth things going bang and you should only drive the car slowly
Service coming up so wondering if it can wait a few weeks or if I need to book it in now
Much appreciated
