Bosch Knock Sensor for a Classic

Hi, I've done a search on this but it hasn't answered my queston. Can you fit the Bosch knock sensor 0-261-231-006 on a 1997 facelift STI. The original unit is hard wired with one wire whereas the bosch unit has 2 pins coming out. Which one of the pins would you use. !!!!
