Default What is normal idle speed
My 2003 WRX is currently idling rock steady at between 500-600 RPM when warm, is this a bit low or is it normal..?

Seems low, but maybe the newages idle lower? I know classics idle at 700-850 roughly.

the idle speed on my 2004 wrx is about 600rpm without air con on although it is not rock steady like yours,it is a bit lumpy on idle
with air con on it is about 800-900rpm

mine around 600 and rock steady too, So i shouldnt worry, I dont

Thanks for the replies, I had a Classic shape and a P1 previously and they both idled a bit higher than the new shape..

Ive got a MY99 and it always idles at 800 RPM
