Need to gain access to a 12V power source for my Origin B2 as I want to hard wire it.

Are there any guides available that show the process of gaining access behind the cig lighter for a bug eye?

Or how you remove any of the dash trim come to that.

Use the main live behind your head unit. There are two live supplies, one direct from battery (use this) and the other is from the ignition.

I have the standard headunit so I'll need to get a remover tool to get behind there then.

How does the standard stereo come out? Assume special tool slides down each side of it?? Looks like it would be a tight fit though

TO REMOVE THE RADIO,IDEALY YOU NEED SOME PLASTIC TRIM REMOVAL TOOLS MAINLY BECAUSE THE DASH CAN BE MARKED BY JUST LOOKING AT IT

BEST WAY TO REMOVE THE TRIM AROUND THE RADIO BELOW THE CUP HOLDER IS TO POP OUT THE CUP HOLDER(AS IF YOU WERE GOING TO USE IT)THEN YOU CAN GET TO THE TO OF THE RADIO TRIM,PULL IT FORWARD FROM THIS CORNER AND WORK YOUR WAY AROUND THE TRIM ITS JUST ON CLIPS.THEN REMOVE AIR CON TUBE AND WIRING PLUG FORM HEATER CONTROL.

NOW UNSCREW THE 4 FIXINGS FROM THE RADIO AND THER YOU HAVE THE RADIO WIRING PLUG.EASY EH!

cup holder route sounds good - just been reading another way of doing it (pulling trim by the gear gaitor towards back of the car) but cup holder sounds safer.

So what color wires should I splice into for the power and earth for the Origin?
