Shane

Got your PM.

It is a very, very tight fit even with manifold spacers. A parallel fuel rail setup would help no end, but with the standard fuel rails passing beneath the intake manifold it makes fitting a lot tighter. When mine was fitted (standard fuel rails and manifold spacers) the fuel rails were not secured to the underside of the manifold - just allowed to hang down a bit - which really helped with fitting the intake hose to the turbo. Even still it is a really tight fit. Do you have the 3" samco hose? If it's any bigger than 3" diameter I don't think it would fit.

I think without the spacers it would be nigh on impossible.

Hope this helps.

Cheers

Terry

thanks terry...yes i got the 3" inlet pipe from roger clark motorsports, ive got custom fuel lines and water return so it will all fit under the manifold (just about) lol
its the position of the turbo thats a real prob, when you look from the front of the engine under the manifold toward the turbo, you can see that the entry pipe into the turbo is slightly behine the leg of the manifold, and trying the fit the 3" silicon pipe to the turbo then squeeeeeeez behind the manifold just isn't happening, and the spacers just make it worse cos the bolt hole then gets in the way

HOW are you getting a front entry feed on a Phase 1 manifold?

Can you take any pictures of your problem?

Sorry! Misinterpreted your first post.

My suggestion would be, remove the turbo again (if its currently sat in situe)
Remove the up pipe, or loosen it so that it sits away from where the turbo would sit.
Install your samco intake pipe
Connect your turbo to the intake pipe, oil return
Reinstall the up pipe, etc

If that doesnt work, post a pic up of where its interfering
