I have a water leek coming from under the passenger side foot well I tho it may of been heater matrix spk to my mech said i would smell ant freeze which i can't plus tasted the water and wasn't sweet was black tho.I did have front windscreen replaced 1 mth ago it only seem to happen when it rain the floor all wet plus water coming from behind the fan I beleive.
Any ideas

 

Are you loosing any coolant? if not then its probably not the heater matrix.
More than likely will be a leaking screen as you have said but I'd also check that if you have air conditioning that the drain tube has not been pushed up into the car.
