Default CEL diagnostics

I have run CEL diagnostics manually receiving codes 22 and 23 knock sensor and maf sensor. Do these codes mean the sensors are broken or they are picking up faults, please. The car is misfiring when boosting but revs perfect at same revs when gears disengaged.

It will do that - not being in gear, the engine is not under load.

i would get it checked out - they could mean a serious problem rather than just a faulty sensor.

I know when I had a crank problem my knock sensor wouldn't let me rev above 3000rpm this is no the case at the moment. I wondered if it was a boost problem as with the gears disengaged the turbo does not boost

The CEL could be causing the car to run in limp home mode and hence wont boost.

I would get it looked at cos if it really is detecting knock then it could be major problems.

Have you reset the ECU yet to ensure they are not from ages ago?

If not reset the ecu, run it for a day or till you see the CEL light come on and check the codes again. Hopfully you'll have just the one.

I had a Knock sensor error and missing through the rev range, changed the knock and it was fine after. If you have quite bad luck you may have both the MAF and knock sensor on the blink!
