Max Boost
I have tried to search but not found on here
What is the max boost a 98 version 3 WRX can run?
And what would be the limiting factor on that boost. i.e head gasket, turbo or boost piping?
I currently have a the above car running 1 bar on an uprated turbo, but no boost controller.
Which boost controller should i fit?
AVC-R, EVC, EO1, PFC+ boost kit, Blitz Dual SBC?

My old V3 was running 1.25bar safely with Blitz controller. That said, I didn't have a remap but did use ocatane booster and had the car checked at PE in Uxbridge for det, etc.
One other tip - I had my boost controller hidden up under the dash on purpose. I could just about tinker to set it up by laying across the floor with my legs out of the car. OK, so this was tricky but much better than getting carried away and upping the boost each time I got to the lights. From experience...boost controllers can be dangerously addictive.
