Classic 96 STI Remap?
Been to my local RR today and was told that my car cannot be remapped! Is this right? If so what possibilities are there for ECU mods etc.
Many thanks.

Doesn't Scoobyclinic have the facility through Pat to remap via a similar ScoobyECU / ESL style chip?

There is a new live ECU flashing/mapping module that plugs into the OE 1993 - 1996 ECU that allows the ECU to be fully-mapped on the road or rolling road via laptop.
This allows you to go a step further then the plug in ScoobyECU, ESL Adaptor or 27C1028 ECU upgrade.
As you are in Norwich, I recommend that you contact Andy at ESL who is probably your nearest (Huntingdon/Cambridge area) mapper who is using this facility service@enduringsolutions.com.
Tell him I sent you

Like I used to, alot of guys on here run or ran 96 Sti's using a boost controller, octane booster and a set up/check over for det, etc. Most I know ran happily at 1.2 to 1.4bar and gave flywheel figures of anywhere between 290 and 320bhp (PE rolling road). It may be an option?
