Default STI 'Pink' Springs

Are the uprated STI pink springs the same as the red/pink springs fitted to some STI's?

The red ones I have fitted to MY01 STi red legs are so stiff, hardly any give in them at all.. I bought the full set second hand and fitted to my WRX as I needed a new front one anyway and someone had a full set of STi's going spare. Are Eibachs or Prodrive springs any softer than these monsters ?

I believe the prodrive ones are quite a bit kinder than the sti's - I have them on a my93 wagon and they are perfect for road use, not too hard but great round corners. Shame you cant get them off the shelf in the UK. Can be had from the states for about $250 for a set of 4 I believe. But you should have sti dampers with them apparently (or prodrive professional set up).

I have a set of shocks and springs from a STI Type R to fit to mine, but wanted it to sit a bit lower than standard, but without it being as low as it is now with my current setup

IPALMER's car sat at exactly the right height i want
