Default removing bov and blocking up pipe, is it safe?

hi, just wondered how dangerouse it would be to not use a dump valve at all, i have spoken to a couple of people who have done this and they seem to think it is ok to do.
what advantages/disadvantages are there in doing so? regards Rich

Why would you want to remove it? Advantages?? None i can think of. Disadvantages?? Turbine stall therefore shortening the lifespan of the turbo unit.
