Default Change gaskets when refitting headers/up-pipe?

Quick question. I'm planning to maybe have the headers and up-pipe off for a heat wrap and maybe a bit of porting out to the gasket lines.

Can the gaskets at the exhaust ports, up-pipe joint and turbo be reused? Or are they usually knackered? Presumably you just get the thing up on ramps, break out the socket set and whip everything off from underneath? Are there any bolts on the turbo that are hard to get at when removing the up-pipe?

The uppipe on the turbo can be be got at with the downpipe taken off and moved aside so you will need to watch that. I would buy new gaskets one leek there and you have a big power lose and it sounds like crap. The headers can be got at from under the car easy the only peoblem i had was the heat sheild on the bolts at the top had rusted together and i couldnt undo them with a bit of pushing and pulling i managed to get in there with a socket.

Ah, so the downpipe has to come off to get at the up-pipe?

only at the turbo end then push to one side theres a nut under it holding the turbo on to downpipe, Just mind you drop any of the nuts down the downpipe tho lol
