Default Check Engine Light

Hi all, my engine warning emissions light came on this morning on the way to work (2002 ppp wrx). I had just overtaken someone on full boost in 3rd. The car and engine is running fine the temperature is fine. Has anyone expereinced this before and is this common on the bugeye with no other signs of anything wrong?

Any ideas or past experiences would be great, i'm thinking of dropping it down to the local dealer to take a look at error codes.

Thanks. Nick

Nick

I have problems with full boost overtaking with my MY02 bugeye...... The SECS gives a camshaft position sensor error . It should go away after 4 or 5 starts.

Its the Bugeye random CEL generator again LOL.

Cheers

Shaun

Nick,

Not had this on my current WRX STI but had this on my previous Turbo 2000, dealer replaced an air sensor/relay, sorted !

Regards,

Andy.

Had it checked out since it was annoying me, exactly the same as yours - bloody Camshaft sensor, all reset and havent seen the light at all.
