Question resetting the ecu

can somone tell me in simple terms,how to reset the ecu??its a bit hesitent at certain revs.
i have an03 STi pro drive

u need to connect to ur ecu using ob2 cable and reset it using the laptop

not sure if there's a way to do it without

Is that at low revs (around 2.5k)?
If so, my MY99's just started doing it badly.
I reset the ECU this morning - Didint solve it.
I'm trying to find someone in the Lincoln area who knows scoobies to take it to.

yes,about 3k and then around 5,5.50,i only notice it slightly,but its there!!!

Disconnect the battery for a few hours.
Get some decent fuel in it first, if you don't have already.

Question

right.
,had the battery disconected all night,started it up,hav,nt been out for a drive yet but hope this has cured the hesitancy at certain revs!!!
