how do i clean this, info would be great but pics even better

It should be to the left of the edge of the photo. Just in front of where the suspension leg is bolted on.
Open the bonnet and start the car you will hear it clicking.

To clean just disconnect and spray some carb cleaner through it.

It clicks when you do the diagnostic by connecting the black connectors under the steering column. Spray some wd40 thru the pipes and valve then connect the black connectors. This will do a clean for you. See Scoobypedia | Trusted knowledge for everything Subaru | Reading ECU Fault Codes browse

I think you need to connect the green connectors to start the diagnostic cycle (Clicking boost solenoid) at least that's how it is for the classics.....

The black connectors are for ecu reading....

if this resets the ecu would it effect the performance or running etc.

Hope i am right and this helps. Took mine off and cleaned them with brake cleaner.
