I've managed to source all the parts now except for the ecu to add ppp to my MY01 WRX. I've just noticed an 03 PPP ecu on fleabay taken from a blob eye. Does anyone know whether this will work on my bugeye?

Nope, the '03 on ecu controls the output of your alternater, where the pre '03 doesnt! The car will run (with a key re-code) but your car will show a fault code for your alternater output being low!

 

Damn! Thought as much, is there anything that can be done to remove the fault code?

 

Remove the bulb!lol Nope, there is no known cure, not that i know of anyway!
