Default gear oil

i have an 06 sti and have just checked the transmission fluid which i presume is the level under the intercooler? the level is showing low so where can i get the fluid? which is best? whens best to actually check the level?

unless it is a automatic that is not tranny fluid it is gear oil for the front diff

its not automatic i just read the owners manual to see what it was, what oil should i use?

you will have to look in your manuel for the wieght of oil use millers if you can get it

would a subaru dealer sell gear oil or is it best to go elsewhere?
