Hi guys

Short question.
Does a 03 Spec C ecu work on 04 jap spec STi engine with an Ecutek remap?

The rom file works in the 04 ecu so suspect the ecu's can be changed, you won't gain anything from a std spec c ecu over a non std normal jdm sti, the only difference is usually the wastegate solenoid duty maps to cope with the VF36 turbo.

If the spec c ecu has been remapped be VERY careful as it won't have be suited to another car.

Thanks so far.

The car is a complete hybrid.
It has the 03 Spec C drivetrain with a 04 STi engine, but I think the Ecutek Remap has benn done after everything was put together.

So this should work?
