Default How to fit a newage sti TMIC to a newage WRX

As title really lol i am getting a sti8 intercooler for fitting to my 05 wrx anyone got top tips or a fitting guide? Thanks Grieg

undo the jubalee clips on both the turbo pipe black on yours red on sti then middle intercooler pipe then do the right hand bracket 3 bolts think 12mm then the left hand 1 above turbo and simply push back and pull away from turbo then simply reverse to put back in but maybe a little lube on red turbo pipe to ease it on then make sure all is nice and tight

Cheers mate don`t sond too bad lol Will i loose any fluids during change over ?

What personally or the car lol.

No there's no oil bits to worry about, just make sure the turbo pipe seal is good and listen out for any new whistles indicating you may have a boost leak after you fit it.

You might want to fit the STi splitter which directs air from the scoop too tho ?

Are the splitters hard to come by second hand ?

Hi mate they can be tricky to get but its your lucky day i can get you one off a sti8 for £40 and it ain`t far from Edinburgh let me know if your interseted. Grieg

Yep, I'm interested - but can it wait a few weeks till after payday ? (I've spent a bit too much on beer this month so I'm skint !)

Its my mate that also posts on here that has it right now and i think he may have sold it to another guy mate that saw the post and Pm`d him if not tho illpoint him in your direction. Greig
