my engine spec , rod question
hi here is my engine spec;
96 wrx ej 20 engine
rebored to fit cosworth forged pistons
ported heads
fully rebuilt engine
td05 20g turbo
740cc injectors
stainless headers and up pipe
3" down pipe decat
2.5" magnex system decat
hks evc boost controller set at 1.5 bar peak
front mount intercooler
22b maf 90mm
k&n with stainless inlet to turbo 60mm
adjustable fuel reg if needed
ngk07 plugs
walbro pump
exedy organic clutch
lightened balanced fly wheel
custom remapped z4 ecu
knock link
first of all what bhp torque should i expect?
can the standard rods handle the bhp and turbo? still with wrx limiter
will the magnex be restrictive and to what point if so?
any info would be appreciated, cheers rob

The older standard rods are not great and would be the first thing to change, but also the most involved. The 2.5" system would probably be better changed to a 3", but not necessarily. At 1.5 bar you can expect probably 330ft-lb on a 20g but I've seen as much 350, power will probably be around 350hp depending on the boost held at peak power.
Usual rolling road result caveats apply.

You might make 380, but I doubt it. Best bet is to try it and see, if you're dissapointed you may make more power just buy changing the rollers you use! If you get a power figure, it's a starting point, my guess is the cams/heads will hold you back. On sti3/4 heads, I would expect 380hp with your setup.
