Problem with CLUTCH MY98Classic
A friend of mine just put in a new engine in his MY98 classic after it went……. Everything is in and engine is running ok…… just one problem!!
When engaging the clutch pedal and releasing, the pedal only comes up half way--- the rest of the way requires pull up by hand!! Any know what the problem is?
Cheers for your help guys!!

check the amount of free play on the pedal.. you can adjust it at the top of the pedal.. reduce the freeplay and it should pop back up

I've had this, and the secret seems to be the bleeding.
If you clamp the piston in the slave right down deep and then bleed, it seems ok.
