Wrapping intercooler pipework helps tremendously mate, keeps the unwanted heat out and the wanted cold air in!!

Certainly wrapping the pipe from the turbo to the wing that goes across the turbo!

The insulation will keep the heat out and also the cold in.

Wrap the turbo pipe with exhaust wrap to contain the heat, this helps lag, as the hotter charge will travel quicker.. same principle as wrapping headers.

wrap the intercooler to t/b with good quality reflective tape to help minimise heat soak... wrap all pipes to the point they exit the engine bay.
