Question accurate boost reading

I have an pfc and commander and also an avcr, however I have noticed that I get different peak boost readings with the avcr reading a higher boost than the commander. Which one is likely to be correct?

Cheers for any responses

Both are correct. Assuming they measure from different places as different places in the boost circuit will show different pressures and fluctuations. If they are both taking the same feed then yes, one or both could be wrong.

cheers guys

Does the avcr get the signal from a different source to the power fc? or is it a case of one updates quicker than the other and so if you hit a higher boost (on the avcr) by the time the commander gets its next input re the boost it could have dropped and hence the different peak?

The engine revs are more or less the same between the 2 (I had a difference of just 5 rpm today so that is fairly accurate)

Engine revs take the same signal. Boost is different everywhere you measure it. I don't know where the AVCR takes its signal from though, sorry!
